What about through Plesk? My web hosting account uses Plesk. I was wondering if you know how to configure the publishing of my blog from Blogger to my web host.

Sorry it’s taken so long to respond to your question.

If the option isn’t readily available at the publish tab inside of blogger, then there are 2 things that you need to do.

#1 - Set “Blog Readers” to “Anybody.” This is found in “Settings” => “Permissions”

#2 - Change your blog to use a “Classic Template.” This is found at “Template” => “Edit HTML” at the very bottom of the page. Click the link that says “Revert to Classic Template.”

Once you have completed those steps, you should be able to go back to “Settings” => “Publish” and choose the FTP or SFTP option.

Thanks for the easy look at how to switch over from blogspot to godaddy. I wasn’t sure I needed hosting -but, yah, if blogger transfers my files by ftp to my godaddy domain - hosting would be NICE! LOL. Great post - thanks again. Vern from Blog Simply!
