I'm sure he's good. I still think you'd have a hard time meeting the quality of work that Noisebox offers for under $50/hr. Many comparable studios are charging $65+/hr. I wouldn't really consider $50 an hour your "best value recording service" though. I don't doubt he's a good engineer. But even Kris Crummet, who is a well respected engineer, only charges $35 an hour. He works with professional artists daily too. Cool set up!
